IBILTA25 Conference wrap up

The three days at IBILTA25 conference have been nothing short of extraordinary. A big thank you to our keynote speakers Associate Professor John Weldon from : Victoria University  and Professor Leanne de Main from De Montfort University, who encouraged all Block practitioners to be curious and bold, and to keep innovating in Block teaching and research. 
 
A heartfelt thank you to all our attendees – local, interstate, and international – and to our conference sponsors: Victoria University, VU Block Academy, Southern Cross University, De Montfort University, and the University of Suffolk. 

Thank you to the Conference Director Jo Divers, the UOS team – including Katie Tyrrell, Lauren Cracknell, Charlotte Greaves and to University of Suffolk for hosting.

We hope you enjoyed the diverse panels, workshops, lectures, and guest speakers as much as we did, and that you take with you invaluable insights into the possibilities of transformative teaching in Block Mode. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to our online conference in 2026 hosted by The University of Montana-Western
